From Modane, follow the signs forAussois. You're on a wide road, but cars are going quite fast because the road is not very busy.

Eating and drinking places along the route: Several restaurants in Modane and Modane. Aussois
Nearest repair point: Sports store in Modane

Natural heritage on the route :
- Le rocher des Amoureux, a major climbing spot in the Maurienne.
- Saint-Benoît waterfall (80 m high)
- Vanoise National Park

Cultural heritage :
- The village center ofAussois and its Baroque church are listed as "Monuments historiques".
- The Esseillon forts are also listed as "Monuments historiques".
