Free climbing route in summer. Users are responsible for their own equipment and safety. Close to exceptional heritage sites such as the Forts de l'Esseillon and the Espace des Gravures Rupestres at Fort Victor Emmanuel. In July/August, restaurant La Guinguette de l'Esseillon, close to the climbing route in the Esseillon hamlet.

Location
Reach the Forts de l'Esseillon from Aussois or Avrieux, parking under Fort Victor Emmanuel or near Charles Félix in a bend. Reach the abandoned former military hamlet of l'Esseillon, where the climbing cliff overlooks the hamlet to the north.
