Getting around Aussois and Haute Maurienne Vanoise Winter and summer alike, take advantage of the bus and public transport network for a low-carbon holiday. From Saint-Michel and Modane stations, 4 bus lines serve the ski resorts. A train + bus ecomobility solution for skiing or hiking, without using the car. Free shuttle buses are also available to get you around Aussois.

In summer, buses serve all the villages and resorts of Haute Maurienne Vanoise as well as the main tourist attractions.

Depuis Aussois, le bus S52/S53 vous transporte directement vers la gare de Modane, les villages de Val Cenis, Bessans ou Bonneval sur Arc.

Pour aller directement à la gare de Modane ou sur la station de Val Cenis : bus S52
Pour aller sur la station de La Norma : ligne F

Downhill and cross-country ski trails

In winter, 2 free "ski-buses" operate at Aussois.

The A1 line serves the whole village, with stops at La Tompaz, La Buidonniere, the campsite, the swimming pool, the village hall, Longecôte, the village center and Maison d' Aussois. An easy way to get to the start of the ski lifts (stop "Maison d'Aussois").

La ligne A2 relie Aussois au domaine nordique de Sardières. Circule tous les jours, sauf samedi, du 14 décembre jusqu’à la fermeture du domaine nordique de Sardières.

Both ski buses are accessible with ski boots on.

Bus included with 6-day + ski passes

L’accès aux bus S50, S51, S52 et S53 qui desservent tout le territoire est compris en illimité du dimanche au vendredi avec votre forfait de ski Aussois 6 jours et + !

Please note: for safety reasons (speed of evacuation), you cannot keep your ski or snowboard boots on your feet on buses S50, S51, S52 and S53. You can put them in the hold with your ski/snowboard and poles. Cross-country ski boots allowed.
