Opening of the Aussois slopes and Christmas Market

Winter is just around the corner, and Aussois invites you to celebrate the opening of its ski season in a warm and festive atmosphere!

Dès le samedi 12 décembre 2026, chaussez vos skis, flânez parmi les artisans du Marché de Noël, dégustez les saveurs locales et vibrez au rythme des animations et concerts qui feront briller le cœur du village.

• 9:00 a.m. – First chairlift ride, activities on the slopes (Santa Claus, music, candy canes…).
• 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. – Christmas Market: many local vendors and producers await you in the heart of the village; face-painting booth; raffle, tastings, wooden games; music… Meet Santa Claus, pony rides… Entertainment.
• 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Creative Christmas decoration workshops led by an artist in front of the church (TRANSIT project).
• 3:00 p.m. – Mountain folktale “A Joyful Life” with the Dairy Cooperative at the Museum.
• 4:00 p.m. & 4:45 p.m. – Christmas concerts with Accord’Oé at the Museum.
• 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM – Christmas Market Grand Prize Contest at the Tourist Office booth at the market (win a one-week all-inclusive ski vacation and other prizes!).
• 6:00 p.m. – Festive parade by theAussois Firefighters’ Club through the village.
• 7:00 p.m. – Dance performance by the children of the Lo Z’Oërin folk dance group at the community hall.
• Starting at 6:00 p.m. – A big festive party organized by theAussois PTAAussois the community hall: Christmas-themed photo booth with a professional photographer, musical happy hour with a mini-disco (Just Dance routines), gourmet snacks, Christmas cookies, followed by a dance party with DJ Yo until 2:00 a.m.

From 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., more than 40 exhibitors and local producers await you in the heart of the village: Savoyard specialties, handmade crafts, local products, tastings, and activities for the whole family!

• Brioche buns from the bread oven, ice pick, candy wheel with the Ski Club.
• Bar – Oyster platters and white wine on the square near the ski school.
• Mulled wine, barley coffee, and gemstones at the Musée de l’Arche d’Oé.
• Storytime and hot chocolate with the Haute Maurienne Dairy Cooperative.
• Pony rides, face painting, glitter tattoos, games, music, and a mailbox for Santa.
• Mini climbing contest with Oé’scalade.
• And many other artisans: honey, soap, herbal teas, cheese, cosmetics, custom engravings, oils, pottery, pastries, tea, flowers, wooden items, liqueurs, crepes, cookies, diots, raclette, sewing, glasswork, crochet, painting, wildlife photography exhibitions, flock printing, home decor, animals, gourmet food, jewelry…
