Concert - ‘Pas Sages’ vocal ensemble
As they do every year on the eve of Corpus Christi, the ‘Pas sages’ Vocal Ensemble will be taking over the church in Aussois for an exceptional concert. This choir from Corenc will be giving an a cappella performance that promises to move the audience once again.
Description
Created in 2005 under the direction of the charismatic choirmaster Guy Martino, the Ensemble Vocal Passage was born of an original initiative: that of a school teacher who had set up a children's choir. The success of this initiative prompted parents to ask for the creation of an adult choir. Since then, the choir has grown to include 45 singers, both men and women, with a passion for singing.
A rich repertoire and prestigious performances
The Ensemble Vocal “Pas sages” stands out for its varied repertoire, combining traditional and contemporary songs, classical and popular pieces, with a particular emphasis on mountain songs and world music. Their performances have taken them to Italy and Spain, and they will be sharing the bill with the famous Italian men's choir Alpi Cotze for a concert in Grenoble.
An eagerly-awaited concert in an exceptional venue
Over the last ten years or so, the concert on the eve of Corpus Christi has become a not-to-be-missed event. The church in Aussois, with its exceptional acoustics, brings out the best in the choir's voices every year. Audiences flock to every performance, filling the building for a moment of suspended emotion and the beauty of vocal harmonies.
The choir's aim? To touch and move its audience. A challenge successfully met in previous editions, and one that the “Pas sages” Vocal Ensemble is determined to repeat this year.
