Exhibition - Papilio Invisibilis - Forts en Lumière Festival
An immersive, interactive, and intimate installation with a beginning and an end. It takes the form of a cabinet of curiosities consisting of the office of the fictional professor, Timoléon Deverne, large potted plants, and paintings hanging on the walls.
Description
Guided by the professor’s assistant, the audience will be immersed in his research on the origin of light. Through observation, deduction, and hands-on experimentation, they will follow the scientist’s reasoning as he offers a surreal explanation of the light behavior of three lamps on his desk.
At the intersection of science and poetry, Papilio Invisibilis invites us to rediscover a sense of wonder and curiosity in the face of a phenomenon that seems ordinary to us but, when viewed from a different angle, takes on an entirely new dimension.
Each performance lasts about 20 minutes and is designed for groups of 1 to 7 people.
