Come and listen to excerpts from the novel *Derrière la lourde porte* by Elisabeth ARNAUD-BODECHER, inspired by the fortresses of the Esseillon, featuring mysterious and endearing characters.
The reading will be accompanied by Jules d’Oé on the diatonic accordion.

Description

The novel "Derrière la lourde porte" was published in 2024.
Inspired by real events, the story is set in the Esseillon forts between Aussois Avrieux.
To bring the characters to life, the author presents musical readings inside the military buildings themselves.

By road: From Chambéry, Albertville, or Grenoble, take the A43 toward Turin/Fréjus Tunnel, exit at Exit 30 (Modane), cross Modane, and follow RD 1006 toward Val Cenis for 5 km.
In summer, La Redoute Marie-Thérèse is accessible by public transportation (Line 1).
