Description

TEKNOTROKIDS are a percussion duo: she mixes her samples, he taps electronic pads, and they both sing and play their percussion instruments. Behind—and even in front of—their intriguing metal structure, they perform compositions inspired by the music of the 90s, focusing on the tiny bugs that surround us: the hairy ones, the parasites, the ones that sting, but also those that pollinate, fertilize, and all the others. Inspired by hip-hop, house music, and trance, and by modernizing a few traditional songs, they invite us to a dance where we can all dance together—like ants, lice, or even spiders—raising our awareness of the lives of these tiny insects and the fragility of our ecosystem.
