The Church and its Romanesque bell tower, which stand at the heart of the village, are a must for any visitor. The stone and slate exterior looks rather unpromising but inside, a magical interior, filled with gold and colour, await you!

Description

The small medieval 12th century church was modified and enlarged in 1648. But, because it was built on unstable ground, it has been subjected to extensive restoration over the centuries.
Walk to the back of the church where you'll see a large Passion Cross attached to the wall.
Go to the front and look at the cornice, above the portal, which is decorated with carvings of people, fleur-de-lis lilies and Savoy crosses.
Then step through the door into the vestibule painted with a mural of the Last Judgement.
Keep going. Enter the church and admire its iridescent altarpieces with twisted columns, the colourful rood beam and chancel with vaulted ceiling, decorated with "umbrella" style ribbing and "pearl" details.
