From fortress to fortress—from Charles-Félix to Victor-Emmanuel—let the walls and Alpine landscapes guide you as they tell the story, stone by stone, of the lives of soldiers and mountain dwellers in days gone by.

• 1/ From the Fort Marie-Christine parking lot, follow the road to the intersection.
  2/ 0:05 – At this junction, turn right onto the downhill path and continue toward Hameau de l'Esseillon, passing through Fort Charles-Felix.
  3/ 0 h 55 - From Hameau de l'Esseillon, continue on the path furthest upstream to reach the Fort Victor-Emmanuel parking lot.
  4/ 1 h 05 - Return via the same route as the outward journey to the Fort Marie-Christine parking lot.
