From Aussois, follow the road up to Plan d'Aval. This short and steep but pleasant climb leads to an amazing dam and can be combined with the Aussois from Modane circuit.
You have the possibility to drink water (3 fountains) and eat at Aussois, and there is also a bike repair shop.
You will discover natural heritage in Aussois : Aussois pastures and the Vanoise National Park. There is also cultural heritage such as the center of the village and its Baroque church Aussois classified "historical monument". And the fortifications of l'Esseillon also classified as "Historic Monuments." Dams and their reservoirs of Plan d'Amont and Plan d'Aval.
