Screening of *K2, My Love* and a meeting with Liv and Zeb
In July 2024, Liv Sansoz and Bertrand Roche set themselves a historic challenge: to climb K2 without oxygen and then paraglide from its summit. After the screening, you’ll have the chance to chat and share experiences with these two adventurers.
Description
July 2024 marks a historic achievement: Liv Sansoz and Bertrand Roche, known as Zébulon, high-altitude guides who have been passionate about mountaineering since childhood, are attempting to climb the legendary K2 (8,611 m) without oxygen. But the climb itself is only part of the dream. From the summit, they hope to take off in a tandem paraglider, an unprecedented feat.
For Zeb, this challenge represents a new chapter in his story, having already made his mark in 2001 with the very first tandem flight from Everest. As for Liv, K2 represents her first 8,000-meter peak, and she joins the very select circle of women who have reached this summit without oxygen.
This film is not just an ode to sporting achievement; above all, it is a story of passion and perseverance, where every step, every decision, and every doubt is shared by two.
Liv and Zeb take us along on their journey, driven by a shared dream and an unfailing love, where every moment becomes proof of their strength and unity. A sensational human epic that will thrill you far beyond the peaks.
