By train
Fast, simple, low-carbon accessAussois one of the most easily accessible mountain resorts by train.
The Modane train station, located just 8 km from the resort, is served by TGV and Frecciarossa trains with direct service from Paris. From the station, the S52 bus will take you quickly to Aussois.
Just a 4-hour TGV ride from Paris, followed by a 15-minute bus ride, and you’ll reach this resort perched at an altitude of 1,500 meters—the perfect base camp for your mountain vacation, whether in summer or winter.

Freeway A43 towards Turin, exit 30 (Modane/Haute Maurienne) then departmental road D1006 (ex-RN6):
Take the D215 towardsAussois for 7 km.
Traffic info
In winter, the Col de l'Iseran and the Col du Mont Cenis are closed to traffic. The Col de l'Iseran is blocked by meters of snow (up to 8m at the aptly named "Pont de la neige") and the Mont Cenis road is transformed into the Val Cenis ski slope (L'Escargot, the longest green run in the world at 13km).

The airports of Chambéry, Grenoble, Geneva, Lyon and Turin are less than 2h00 away fromAussois. In winter, there are bus connections from Chambéry airport to Haute Maurienne.
