Dogsledding experience on the Monolithe Nordic ski area (Aussois- Val Cenis Sardières)

A hilly itinerary in a family resort on a sunny plateau, offer yourself a unique moment of dream, sharing of passion, complicity between man and dog, communion with the animal. Approx. 5 km route.

Description

During your sled ride, you will be transported in a team of 8 dogs, driven by an experienced musher. They will take you through the snowy mountain landscapes.
You will be able to enjoy the feeling of freedom and glide that our activity provides, and admire the sporting performance and the pleasure of running our team. Our sled dogs are Siberian Huskies, Alaskan Huskys, Eurohounds that we choose above all for their pleasure to share this activity with us.
The best part of the ride: a petting session to reward our dogs and allow you to keep nice photographic memories.
Important note: the practice varies according to the weekly conditions, in particular snow conditions. The activity includes about 25 to 30 minutes of harnessing, and 15 to 20 minutes of rewarding our dogs (petting, photos...).

Maximum weight per dog team: 180 kg for the comfort of our dogs and yours. In case of doubt, please contact us before booking.
Activity forbidden to pregnant women, people with back pain or badly healed fractures.

Additional welcome

Bring warm, waterproof equipment (like ski pants), warm footwear (including après-ski boots if necessary), sunglasses (or goggles on snowy days), hat, gloves (or mittens for the coldest).
Not suitable for pregnant women or people with joint instability such as fractures or back pain.
