Produced by the Fédération Française de la Montagne et de l'Escalade and shot on location alongside ski area safety personnel, this video highlights the constraints and responsibilities faced by these professionals.
It reminds us that ski touring on ski areas, which is often an introduction to the activity or a more sporting activity, is subject to specific safety rules designed to protect both skiers and operators.
Awareness of these constraints and collective common sense contribute to harmonious cohabitation and the development of a booming sport, before moving on to more challenging terrain far from ski lifts.
