Ski touring offers a unique mountain adventure experience, allowing skiers to explore vast natural spaces. All the educational aspects of the mountain will be covered, so you can learn to ski safely with the help of our professionals.

Description

A week to discover ski touring from March 8 to 15, 2025, an activity accessible to all in Aussois. Ski touring offers a unique mountain adventure experience, allowing skiers to explore the wide open spaces of the Vanoise. It's an activity that combines sport, exploration and a connection with nature, for an incomparable feeling of freedom. This week is supervised by mountain professionals (instructors, guides, snow experts, first aiders, etc.), who will cover all aspects of mountain education to help skiers learn more about the sport and to help them evolve in complete safety.
A reminder of safety rules: always be supervised by a mountain professional, have the required equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe, airbag, helmet), be trained and informed about risks (zero risk does not exist).

In a magnificent natural setting at the gateway to the Vanoise National Park, with views of the Esseillon forts, the dams, the village, the peaks, the forest, access to chalets, restaurants, refuges...
Aussois has hosted a stage of the Ski Mountaineering World Cup and numerous competitions such as La Trace du Chatelard.
