Description

The benefits of Yin Yoga
Yin is the perfect complement to the dynamic practices of vinyasa and ashtanga, for example. Overall, yin complements all physical and sporting activities. Yang activities bring warmth to the body, while yin seeks to bring freshness.

Yin allows you to relax and stretch at the same time, so it's also a real challenge for the mind. Remaining relaxed, calm and motionless is essential to achieve the effects of yin, and we won't hide the fact that this isn't always easy when it lasts several minutes. The body, or rather the brain, often wants to get out of the postures when it feels uncomfortable or starts to grind.

After a yin practice, you may feel relaxed or even a little drained, as it allows many stored emotions to be evacuated - particularly from the hips. Take your time before rushing to your phone after class - I'd even say this applies to every yoga class!

A short list of yin benefits:
- Relaxing and balancing the body
- Relaxing the mind and uncovering blockages
- Work on the energy flowing through the body
- Lubricate joints and make them more supple
- Improve meditation and relaxation skills
- Improve your yang practice and other activities
