Monolithe Nordic ski area
1500 m - 1600 mThe Monolith ski area - why the name? The cross-country ski area between Aussois and Val Cenis-Sardières owes its name to a geological curiosity: a huge needle of rock that seems to be planted in the forest, like a giant menhir, or a... monolith.
Once you've got your skis on, the plateau around the Foyer Nordique is the perfect place for children and beginners to discover their first gliding sensations on the classic runs, or to learn the basics of skating. Advanced skiers can take advantage of the more technical and physical trails in the forest.
*Opening date subject to change (depending on snow conditions).
